Melbourne. Of all the cities around the world I’ve been to, this one takes the cake. It may have a fundamentally flawed public transport system. It may have a large number of bogans residing there. But it is home, and the day I was going to the airport to take the plane to London, I looked back over the Bolte Bridge and felt like hugging every inch of this bloody magnificent city.
That’s why I love Melbourne.
